It’s another way we’re making life easier, greener and more cost-effective for our buyers.

As construction gains momentum, we’re partnering with British manufacturer Rolec to install modern, smart home charge points.

Rolec’s award-winning home range, including WallPod, Zura and the new EVO, supports app control, Wi-Fi/4G*/Ethernet connectivity and dynamic load balancing, so you can charge effortlessly and confidently. The units are compatible with all major EVs.

The newest charger, EVO, is a compact and stylish home EV charging solution designed with drivers in mind. The introduction of EVO also marks the arrival of a new way to solar charge. With the ECO + smart solar feature, EVO can detect and allocate any available surplus solar power to your vehicle for a 100% renewable, cost-free charge.**

Designed to fit effortlessly into modern living, it brings style, simplicity, and convenience to every journey, so we knew it was perfect for our homes at Hemlock Gate.

The EVO app puts you in control; set charging schedules, take advantage of smart tariffs to save on off-peak rates, or connect seamlessly via your preferred OCPP app.

It’s just another way we’re making sure Hemlock Gate is the top choice for eco-minded buyers. Alongside air source heat pumps, underfloor heating and solar panels, your Rolec charger can be set to “smart charge” when electricity is cheapest, or to prioritise power generated by your PV system, helping you reduce running costs and carbon over time.

This comes as the government has introduced a new Electric Car Grant for brand‑new EVs priced up to £37,000, offering discounts from £1,500 up to £3,750 depending on model eligibility.

The first car models were approved for the £1,500 discount in early August, and more are expected to follow, with the top £3,750 tier depending on sustainability criteria and model availability.
